I am so excited to be able to work at such a wonderful school! We have a fabulous staff, awesome parents, and the very best students.
I have lived in many places in the U.S., as my father was a pilot in the United States Air Force. Since I was in second grade, I told my parents I was going to be a teacher. I think it was in my blood...my grandmother was a fifth grade teacher and was selected as an Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America in 1972. Upon graduating from college in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I moved to Texas. My dreams and aspirations came true when I started teaching in 1984. I taught first and fifth grade in Spring ISD. In 1995, I became a school counselor and worked in that capacity in Spring until 2008 when I started working in Magnolia ISD as NSE's school counselor.
I married my husband in 1990. We have 2 wonderful boys, Matthew and Nicholas, and two beautiful granddaughters, Mabry Kay and Mila Marie. In my spare time I love to camp with my family and enjoy watching Nicholas play basketball and baseball.
I look forward to another fabulous year at NSE. Thank you, parents, for sharing your children with me. It is such a joy to work with them each and every day.
