A little about me, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Marketing degree and from University of Houston with a degree in Elementary Education.

I have been teaching for thirteen years and I have taught first, second and (for nine years) third grade. .I have a grown daughter (Randi Rhea Willis-love of my life) who attends Texas A&M University.  I am also very excited to have gained a wonderful son-in-law named Hunter.  My other child is my dog named Pepper-Ann who is another love of my life.

I feel that teaching through technology is a MUST in today's world. Our room contains a Smart Board, \many Chrome Books and several desktop computers. We are so fortunate to be in a district that puts great value in technology growth.

My classroom is filled with students who are engaged in learning with a purpose. It is an environment where students feel that their opinions and thoughts matter. We strive to learn something new everyday!

My spiritual calling is to be a teacher and I was called from a very young age. I have always loved children and I wouldn't trade the teaching profession for any other profession in the world. I also have always had a great relationship with all of my parents and I welcome any and all parent involvement.

I will assign homework throughout the year but the most important thing that parents can do is read with their children each and every evening for 20-30 minutes. It is critical to the success of children. Also, it creates lasting memories for us to hang on to when our children leave the nest and go on to college.

Lastly, I always strive to achieve a healthy home/spiritual/school relationship which is vital (in my opinion)to success in the classroom.

My conference time is 10:20-11:15 each day. The students will have PE on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week and will have Music On Tuesday and Art on Friday.
Please feel free to email me at if you have questions or would like to schedule a conference. It is going to be a great year!
