I grew up in Magnolia and attended school in this wonderful district from Kindergarten to 11th grade. I then moved to Tomball and graduated from Tomball High School in 2001. After high school I attended The University of Houston where I played French Horn in the marching band and the Cougar Brass basketball band. I graduated from U of H with a degree in Education and Early Childhood in December of 2005. This is now my 12th year of teaching, and my third year at wonderful NSE teaching and my second year teaching 5th grade. I previously taught 4th and 5th grade math and science in The Woodlands, Texas and 3rd grade at NSE.
I have been married to a wonderful man Brandon Thomas for 12 years. Together we have two children, Haley is 8 and will be attending third grade this year and Brayden is 4 and will be in Pre-K this year. We also have two dogs, Krystal and Jake and two cats, Smokey and Rosie. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outside, water skiing, shopping or making crafts.
I am looking forward to a great 2017-2018 school year.
