STAAR Results

Your child recently took the STAAR assessment in May during the 2016-2017 school year. The results of the STAAR assessment for grades 3 - 8 will be available online on June 30, 2017. Administrative staff will be available after July 17th if you need a paper copy of your child's results, additional information or assistance. Click on heading for more details.

NSE Book Pop Drop 2017

This summer NSE will be holding our BOOK, POP, DROP event several times throughout the summer. Instead of coming to school, we are coming TO YOU! On the following Wednesday mornings we are loading a bus with books, fun activities, and lots more! Every visit will include games and read aloud stories, plus each NSE student gets a free goodie bag filled with books, snacks, activities, pops, special edition Spirit Sticks, & more!

Tardy and Leave Early 

Students are allowed 8 tardy and/or leaves early for the school.  An official doctor's excuse will negate the infraction and not be included in the count.  

When an elementary student is tardy to school and/or leaves early eight times as documented by the attendance office, the parent will be asked to attend a parenting class provided by the District. If the parent chooses not to attend the parenting class within two weeks, the child will be assigned one day of In-School Suspension (ISS) or other options decided by the campus administration.

In the event that a student sees a licensed health care provider and an excuse is provided from the health care professional, the tardy/leave early will not be included in the count.
